Terms of use

1. The service

KMPL Diary lets you log fuel fill-ups and vehicle expenses, and shows your mileage, costs and reminders on the web (Android and iPhone apps are coming soon). Numbers are worked out from what you enter; please check anything important (for example PUC or insurance dates) yourself.

KMPL Diary is run by Sandipbhai Hasmukhbhai Mistry, an individual developer in Pune, Maharashtra, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using KMPL Diary, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older, or use KMPL Diary with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Keep your password safe and your email address up to date. Please verify your email within 7 days of signing up; accounts that are not verified by then are removed automatically. For your safety, you are signed out after 2 months without using the app. You can delete your account at any time from Me → Delete account; your data is then removed.

3. Free and Plus

4. Paying for Plus

5. Family garage

A Plus member can share vehicles with up to 4 people by email. People you share with can see and change that vehicle's records. Only share with people you trust. You can remove them at any time.

6. Fair use

Don't misuse the service, try to break it, or use someone else's account. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. No guarantees

KMPL Diary is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Mileage, costs and reminders are only as good as the numbers you enter, and a reminder can be late or missed (for example if an email lands in spam), so keep track of important dates such as PUC and insurance yourself.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as a fine for an expired PUC), and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for Plus in the 12 months before the problem.

8. Changes

We may update these terms or the plans. We'll tell you in the app or by email before a change to prices affects you.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to sort out any problem. If we can't, the courts in Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
