Cancellation and refunds

1. Try Plus first, free

Every new account gets KMPL Diary Plus free for 14 days. No payment details are needed, and the trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself.

2. Cancelling

• Bought on the web: in the app, go to Me → Plan → Stop renewing. You can do this at any time.
• After you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the month or year you paid for. You are not charged again.
• To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date shown in the app.
• Cancelling also stops the automatic payment (UPI AutoPay, card or bank mandate). You can also see and cancel it in your UPI app or bank.
• Bought in the App Store or on Google Play: cancel in your Apple account's subscriptions or in Google Play → Subscriptions.

3. Refunds

Payments for Plus are not refundable, including for part of a month or year. When you cancel, Plus simply stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

We do refund in these two cases:

• You were charged twice, or charged by mistake (for example, a renewal after you had already cancelled).
• You paid, but Plus did not turn on for your account, and we could not fix it.

4. How to ask for a refund

• Email support@kmpldiary.com within 30 days of the charge. Include your account email, the date and the amount (and the payment ID from your receipt, if you have it).
• We reply within 2 working days.
• Approved refunds go back to the same UPI, card or bank account you paid with. Banks usually take 5–7 working days to show it.

5. Renewal reminders

• For a yearly plan bought on the web, we email you 7 days before it renews, so you can cancel in time if you want to.
• Your bank or UPI app also tells you before each automatic payment.

6. App Store and Google Play purchases

Refunds for purchases made in the App Store or on Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. Ask them from your purchase history.

7. If Plus ends

Nothing is deleted. Your first vehicle stays fully usable on the Free plan, and your other vehicles and older history come back when you renew.

8. If KMPL Diary closes

If we ever close KMPL Diary, we'll tell you at least 30 days before. You can export your data, and we refund the unused part of any Plus plan bought on the web.
